Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training

+ Prerequisite: Level 1 Yoga Teacher Training Contact Hours completed
+ Must be 200 hour qualified Yoga Teacher to teach Prenatal Yoga
Prenatal Yoga is a specially designed training for those that have completed or are in the process of completing their Level 1 Yoga Teacher Training Contact Hours. In order to teach Prenatal Yoga, you must have completed your 200 hour Yoga Teaching Certification. This program will equip participants to lead prenatal classes for mums-to-be as they experience the physical, mental and emotional demands of pregnancy. Designed with the goal of building community, incorporating mindfulness, preparing for labour and delivery, relieving stress and promoting wellness and balance, this program addresses many common needs affecting pregnant women, including pelvis and sacroiliac dysfunction, relief from poor sleep, posture imbalance, pregnancy related aches and pains, as well as tools for dealing with anxiety and breathwork.
Pregnancy yoga supports ‘Mum to Be’ students to stay healthy and balanced not just free from physical pain but also helping their mental and emotional well-being. This 3-day program will prepare you to confidently provide a caring, safe, relaxing and nurturing session for pregnant women.
